Base Pay:

$52,000 - $69,000 per year, plus excellent benefits, including paid time off, 401(k) retirement plan, and 100 percent company-paid employee health, life, and disability insurance. Approximately 85 to 90 percent of family medical is also covered. Reasonable relocation expenses will be included.

Summary

We are seeking an outgoing, highly motivated, and experienced Assistant Network Administrator to join our IT team. The role will be responsible for providing technical support and assistance to end-users in offices located throughout Central and Eastern Oregon and Eastern Washington, resolving hardware, software, and network-related issues, and assisting with the smooth operation of our IT systems.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and diagnose hardware, software, and network problems, including desktops, laptops, printers, peripherals, and mobile devices. • Install, configure, and maintain operating systems, software applications, and system updates. • Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights in Microsoft’s Active Directory and other authentication systems. • Monitor and maintain the health, performance, and security of IT systems, including servers, workstations, and network infrastructure. • Collaborate with other IT team members to implement and support IT projects, upgrades, and migrations. • Document and maintain accurate records of technical issues, resolutions, and system configurations. • Assist in providing training and guidance to end-users on IT systems, applications, and best practices. • Periodic work on weekends or after normal business hours. • Provide multi-tier networking and end-user support via phone, email, Microsoft Teams, or in-person, ensuring timely resolution of technical issues.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field preferred or 6+ years of applicable workplace experience. • 2+ years of experience in a technical support role, preferably in a Microsoft Windows/Office 365 environment. • Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP), or equivalent are a plus. • Solid understanding of Microsoft Windows operating systems, Active Directory, and network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP). • Experience with troubleshooting hardware and software issues, including desktops, laptops, printers, servers, and mobile devices. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical information to non-technical end-users. • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with attention to detail. • Valid driver’s license.
