(AP) is looking for a full-time computer-aided design (CAD) drafter to join our team of drafters in eastern Oregon and Washington. The AP team includes seven CAD drafters with extensive experience in aiding civil engineers in the design of projects. AP’s drafting team has helped produce hundreds of design drawings for federal, state, local, and private entities on a wide variety of water, wastewater, transportation, irrigation, and water resource related projects. Our drafting team utilizes the latest software available, primarily AutoCAD Civil 3D and Microstation, to meet clients’ requirements in a timely and accurate manner.
• Work with a team to design a variety of water, wastewater, transportation, water resource, bridge, and other civil engineering and related projects, including infrastructure and site development projects. • Assist design technicians and engineers in producing accurate design drawings for various site and infrastructure projects.
• 4+ years of experience in AutoCAD Civil 3D and/or Microstation. • Proficient in building surfaces from survey point data and modeling grading objects, roadway corridors, pipe networks, and terrain surfaces utilizing AutoCAD Civil 3D software. • Ability to understand engineering schematic drawings and plans. • Excellent communication skills to interact with engineers and other staff.
